Lame episode title, I know, but we can change it up later.
Last round was pretty emotional on Remus. It was a touching round and i think that although HLC failed to make the merge yet again, this was by far her best showing in terms of development. I really feel like she went out on a higher note this time and I hope she takes some new and genuine friendships away from this.
Alex Rico is playing a dangerous game. He allowed himself to get to emotionally invested in the obvious vote buffer of the tribe - but at the same time, he is no robot. I have all sorts of respect for him on a human level and he has a bigger heart than he chooses to show. I am fearful that it may have gotten him in danger.
If you were Allan Fogg, what would you do in this case? On one hand, Alex Rico demonstrated admirable loyalty by honoring his word to HLC, but t in the other hand, he blatantly showed Allan that his loyalties lie elsewhere. I am outrightly asking the PWers if they would see Alex's actions as valuable if you can earn his trust and align with him, or do you get rid of him at the first opportunity because he has thrown votes your way instead of on the easy target?
Over on Agamemnon, the vote seemed cleaner and simpler for most involved. Kyle never managed to fit in and always seemed to have a "lone gunman" air about him in this game. They played it safe, but Kurtis looks to be in the hot seat moving forward. I know that he is smart enough and capable enough to do something about it, but will he be successful?
Although I feel as if the scavenger hunt challenge is no longer a true scavenger hunt anymore (especially in terms of what a scavenger hunt is actually supposed to be), I still enjoy seeing people's personalities shine through. I am excited to see Sassy actually participate in this challenge as herself and let her guard down. Speaking of Sassy... anyone else notice that she actually seems to he enjoying herself more than last time? Japan was super stressful for her and this time i think she is a little more liberated in terms of the fact that she feels comfortable in this community enough to actually put herself out there in this game. I am proud of her.
