1. How have you changed as a person since your last season of iSurv1vor?
It doesn't seem that long since I last played, so I'm not sure that I'm all that different. I moved into a new apartment with my boyfriend, does that count?
2. What is your favorite memory from your past season(s) of iSurv1vor?
WELL this is hard, since I feel like I didn't get to play much in my past season and some of my experiences were, to put it nicely, difficult. However, I'll say that there were points early on in the game that I enjoyed meeting and talking to new people and building new relationships with people I already knew. I also always love any photo scavenger hunt challenge!
3. What is something you regret from your season or one of your seasons of iSurv1vor?
I regret giving into my fear of missing out. It caused me to talk way too much to too many people and then get into compromising situations that I couldn't get out of. I also suppose I regret letting people get inside my head and really affect me personally.
4. What effect has iSurv1vor had on your personal life?
Again, I feel like my first iSurv1vor experience was really not illustrative of the "common" experience. At the time when I played, and shortly after I left the game I was very hurt by things that were said about me, both in game and afterward. I'm not necessarily someone who wears my heart on my sleeve, so to speak, but I do feel like I do really bring a lot of myself to these games and so when things are said about me they aren't easy for me to brush off. For a long while after I played, I was really reluctant to come back. Ultimately though, seeing how close people here are and how much they support the community, I wanted to really experience what iSurv1vor is all about.
On a happier note, I have some of my best friends in the ORG community, some of whom have played iSurv1vor. So, in that sense, iSurv1vor has served as a means to connect even more with those friends!
5. Who is the closest friend you’ve made through iSurv1vor?
I feel like these questions are really geared toward your prototypical All-Star! Most of my friends are folks I met before iSurv1vor! Hopefully that will change after this game! I know people on reality shows always say, "I'm not here to make friends" but dangit I really feel like I am!
6. Does the fact that you will most likely have preexisting friendships coming into this game comfort you or make you more nervous?
A bit of both, with a bit of a leaning toward comfort. Lots of people in this game have preexisting relationships with people so I don't feel like that I should stick out as much as I would in another game. I do know however that my connections with people are maybe a bit more visible than others via social media which makes me nervous. I am comforted by the fact though that if I'm having a rough time in the game there will hopefully be people around that I can talk to about it!
7. Coming into Macedonia, are you willing to backstab your friends in order to win the game?
Early on in the game, no. There are too many folks in this cast who 1) Don't know me, 2) Don't like me, and/or C) Think I'm threatening. Early on in the game, my friends are going to be the thing that keeps me afloat. Middle-endgame though, who knows what will happen? My instinct though is that I will never betray Dave or Alex.
8. What’s one way that you want to change your strategy in Macedonia from the last time you played?
Relax and wait for people to come to me, while being conscious of scooping up people who might be seen as "underdogs."
9. Who on the Macedonia cast do you see as the biggest threat to you?
There are lots of people that I'm wary of right now, but Ricky and Dru are standing out to me as people I probably shouldn't trust.
10. What is something that you want to bring to Macedonia that you didn’t do in your past season(s)?
Isn't this question sort of like #8? Um, I feel like I'm just going to bring myself since I'm pretty sure most people don't even know who that is!
11. What is the ultimate thing that you want to get out of playing Macedonia?
I want a different narrative of what it means to be an iSurv1vor. I alluded to it before but I'll say it again, I see how close people are in this community, how much mutual support and love is here to be had, and how fun everyone is and I want that! My first experience left a sour taste in my mouth and I'm sure some things I did left people with the wrong impression about me as a person and a player. I am so grateful for this second chance to turn it all around!
Here's to hoping I'm around long enough to do it!

Thought I'd give y'all a quick update before work here.
The challenge went (is going?) pretty good I think. I'm pretty happy with what I saw toward the end and hopefully we have a good chance of winning!
Joanne stepped up and really took charge of things. Good. A lot easier to hide my Type A tendencies underneath her energy.
People kept like leaving the call at these inopportune times which made me think they were going on another call or to chat elsewhere. I talked to Chris about it, in attempts to strengthen our relationships together. Bad move. He is just as paranoid as me (or at least seemed like it) so there was no possibility of comfort there. Drew was nowhere to be found until he messaged me right before his turn to ask about using Pixlr. For god sake, people, you're an ORGER...stop using paint for your parchments. Part of me though thinks he was trying to make me feel smarter than him. Meh. Whatever.
Kyle, unfortunately, is surprisingly engaging on the webcam--like more engaging than me-- which probably for most people pulls him out of the "easy boot" category. Rats. Mike, fortunately, can't seem to get the hang of this socializing thing which keeps him there. Better for me.
I'm not exactly sure where I stand right now. Dru/Joanne seem pretty familiar with each other probably via Trevor. I'd lump Nikki in there too just based on gut feelings. For some reason I also feel like Sassy has inroads with that group. I'm not sure if there are any concrete deals on this tribe right now...maybe just mutual understandings?
I don't feel like I am the first to go, but don't feel completely in the know of things either, which can be both a powerful and a precarious position. When you're on the edge any little thing you do could push you off the cliff!

Also, here is my official request for Sandy's mom to be a judge of the flags. Thanks much.

I know it's sorta quiet. I didn't want to wake up the boyfriend. I also added music to make it more *snazzy*. But, if you need a version for episode making, let me know and I'll make one without. K ilu.
