1. How have you changed as a person since your last season of iSurv1vor?I feel like a completely new person since Congo. I’ve started the next phase of my life. I moved out of my parents house, I’ve started my career in a job that I love and I’ve overall just changed my attitude on living a healthy lifestyle.
2. What is your favorite memory from your past season(s) of iSurv1vor?Besides my cheesy answer of just spending time with my Mbochi boys the specific memory that stands out the most is when Adrian got Ian to give up his idol and then we voted him out that very round. It was such a ‘WAIT, WHAT!?’ then ‘OMG’ then ‘LOLOLOLOL’ then ‘I kind of feel like an asshole’ moment. It was great.
3. What is something you regret from your season or one of your seasons of iSurv1vor?There really isn’t a lot that I regret from my season. I played it that if I was able to make it to the end I would have won. I’m quite confident I would have. So there’s not much I could regret really. I guess the only thing I could have done was be more aggressive with Jose to keep me at the F4.
4. What effect has iSurv1vor had on your personal life?ORGs in general have changed my life completely. I have a second family now of people from around North America, which is so unique. Unfortunately for this question, iSurv1vor specifically has not affected me personally at all. Sorry to say! Haha. I was meeting up and making friends way before I made my way to iSurv1vor!
Love these guys!
5. Who is the closest friend you’ve made through iSurv1vor?Again, most if not all of my closest friends were not made through iSurv1vor. I want to say Allan, but I’d argue that I met him through my Offensive friends. So my answer will be Adrian / Jose. Though I haven’t really kept in that close of contact with them. I hope we can change that!
6. Does the fact that you will most likely have preexisting friendships coming into this game comfort you or make you more nervous?Waaaaay more nervous. You never know who’s actually friends with who unless it’s obvious and you don’t know who’s willing to vote out a friend and who isn’t. It’s very easy for anyone to say ‘Yeah I’ll vote out my best friend’ and very much another thing to see them actually go through with it. It also just makes the game much more personal, which isn’t fun. I’d have preferred to have zero friends coming into this game.
7. Coming into Macedonia, are you willing to backstab your friends in order to win the game?Depends on the situation.
Am I going to vote out Alex in the next few rounds because it’ll help me win the game? No. There is no way the path to the end of the game is going to be that clear-cut so early. It’s not worth it on a personal level for me to do that.
If it’s the f7 and if I vote out Fei I’ve then got a clear path to victory? Absolutely. I will buy her some shots when I see her next, but she’ll be sitting in that jury seat.
I have a feeling I’m going to be targeted with my friends regardless with what happens. So the game plan is to make them look more threatening than me.
8. What’s one way that you want to change your strategy in Macedonia from the last time you played? It’s not so much that I
want to change my strategy from Congo; it’s more that I’m going to be forced to. As I mentioned in the first question my life has completely changed. I simply just do not have as much time as I did in Congo to chat and strategize into the wee hours of the morning. So, I feel my strategy is going to turn into a more UTR player. I personally hope not because I think that’s boring, but I have a feeling that might happen.
9. Who on the Macedonia cast do you see as the biggest threat to you?I think someone like Jacob. I know he probably already has a target for winning the latest season but he was one of the few people that I watched his video and was just like ‘he seems like an awesome guy. I want to work with him’. If he gives off that vibe without even ever chatting with him… that’s scary. I can see why he already won.
10. What is something that you want to bring to Macedonia that you didn’t do in your past season(s)?I’m trying to think what I didn’t bring in Congo? I think I’m a good all around player that can be entertaining without being bat shit crazy and blowing up my game for entertainment value. I helped make a pretty shocking move in voting out Adrian, I won individual immunities for myself, I did a good job of having everyone trust me.
So. My answer is… video confessionals. Since I did zero in Congo. Haha.
11. What is the ultimate thing that you want to get out of playing Macedonia? When I played in Congo I had an absolute amazing time and couldn’t rave enough about how much I loved this series to all my friends, which made them apply over the seasons. However, their (and my) experiences after Congo in their games / the VL really left a bitter taste in my mouth about this series. Call me overly sensitive or whatever you want, I don’t really give a shit. It’s how I felt. So I left.
So, yeah, while I mean I’d love to win the game, what I ultimately want from this experience is to remember why I loved this series so much. Really want to get those feelings I had from Congo back once again. I hope I do.
