1. How have you changed as a person since your last season of iSurv1vor?
Hmm how have I changed as a person since my last season? Well it was 5 years ago so I've grown up alot (old). I think I'm alot more mature than I used to be. I don't fly off the handle as much as I used to. I think when I was in my early and mid-twenties I was so quick to cut people out of my life, and now I think I'm a little more able to understand the other side of a story, especially a side that isn't mine. As far as playing is concerned I think I am mostly the same. I played a strategic game last time. I tried not to get personal. I'm hoping the same methods this time around get me to the end again.
2. What is your favorite memory from your past season(s) of iSurv1vor?
My favorite memory is from Season 12: Montenegro, when I won the final immunity challenge that guaranteed my spot in the Final 2. I had a really hard decision of deciding between Lori (my friend and ally) or Evan (who sucked and was useless). I ended up going with the former, which I don't regret. Lori was a great friend and ally to me in Montenegro, and I was so afraid I would lose to either person, so I decided to go with the person that I'd be more proud to lose to. If Evan won our season it would have been shameful and I didn't want to risk that.
3. What is something you regret from your season or one of your seasons of iSurv1vor?
The only regret I have is from Montenegro. It was that damn jury question from Erik. He asked us to associate not so nice words with the jury. I prided myself on not getting mean or personal throughout the game and stuck to my guns during jury questioning. Looking back I wish I just answered the stupid question. I don't know if it would have helped me, but I don't think it could of hurt.
4. What effect has iSurv1vor had on your personal life?
I don't think iSurv1vor has had any effect on my personal life to be honest. I sadly am not as active within the community as I'd like to be (I wish I was, and I'm hoping being involved with this game will continue to keep me active in the community once this season ends).
5. Who is the closest friend you’ve made through iSurv1vor?
I don't think I'm super close to anyone through iSurv1vor. I am obviously close to Robbie, but he and I knew each other long before we played iSurv1vor together. I have known him for at least 14 years now. I love Robbie and he knows personal things about me that some of my real friends don't even know. I adore Lori and Kirin, but I unfortunately am not super close to them.
6. Does the fact that you will most likely have preexisting friendships coming into this game comfort you or make you more nervous?
I actually don't have that many (if any...) pre-existing friendships coming into this game so I am SUPER nervous about it! I hate that some people are super close and I don't have anyone really like that. I am just hoping that for as many friendships there are...there are also ENEMIES that I can play up and get them to just attack each other.
7. Coming into Macedonia, are you willing to backstab your friends in order to win the game?
Considering I am not that close to anyone in the game, I am willing to backstab anyone. I've proved people wrong once by making the Final 2 in Montenegro, and I don't want people to think it was a fluke. I want to show that I am a competitor that can do well even with a change of scenery.
8. What’s one way that you want to change your strategy in Macedonia from the last time you played?
The only thing I want to change about my strategy in Macedonia from the last time I played is to not let friendships get in the way of the ultimate goal. I remember talking to Lori about going to England to see Tucker. They were my alliance..BUT THAT SHIT NEVER HAPPENED. In my brain I thought it would and I wanted to be loyal to these people. Don't get me wrong I will still be loyal to the people I promise, because you can't get to the end alone. However, I am definitely not going to hold as much weight in friendships as I did the first time, because if you are truly meant to be friends it will be fine once the game is over.
9. Who on the Macedonia cast do you see as the biggest threat to you?
To me personally I think Alex Rico is the biggest threat. I don't think he is the biggest threat in the overall game, but I do know that he and I did not get along super well in season 12 together, and I'm not sure if he will hold anything against me or not.
10. What is something that you want to bring to Macedonia that you didn’t do in your past season(s)?
I want people to get to know me better moreso than anything else. I mean the obvious goal is to win, but the community of iSurv1vor has grown so much and I want to be a part of it. The production value has increased exponentially so I am excited to give video confessionals and detailed information as to how I am playing the game and why I am doing the things I do.
11. What is the ultimate thing that you want to get out of playing Macedonia?
Like I mentioned before, I think the first time I played I was considered a second thought. No one really knew who I was and I don't think people were threatened by me. I want to show people that me making the Final 2 isn't some random thing, but the end result of a long drawn out strategic plan that came to fruition.
