In other news, Alex just told me that Dave played the idol last round.

I don't really get why?

Scenarios:

1) They were gonna vote Dave and actually did and he took out Dru.
Why this makes makes sense: Dru is a threat and Dave didn't wanna piss anyone off
Why this makes no sense: I know Dru is charming, but wouldn't there have have been a better use for the idol on that side? Like Debbie/Joanne/Dru at least outwardly appeared to be sitting ducks. Why wouldn't he have used the idol on Joey or Alyx? And, if Dave was on "the bottom" why didn't people attack him more in the challenge?

2) Dave thought that they were going to vote him (either due to suggestion, or paranoia) and so he played the idol but really Agamemnon voted for Dru.
Why this makes sense: We employed the same strategy on Ellada for the Nicole vote. The only difference here was I wasn't there to tell Dave what was actually going on
Why this makes no sense: Why would they go through all that trouble and get Dave all pisssssed and then not try to make certain he wouldn't win immunity. Unless they were just trying to steal the attacks so Chris would stay immune?

3) Dave played it to get rid of it and make himself appear less threatening.
Why this makes sense: Even back on Ellada Dave was getting annoyed at idol paranoia plus, he might be worried about appearing too powerful.
Why this makes no sense: I know that we're coming up on the time where you can't use the idol. But why would he just throw it away?

So in conclusion I'm really confused. It's making me paranoid, to be honest, that despite how the attacks in the challenge make it look, Debbie/Joanne/Joey/Alyx are a thing? Like that would be totes random and I honestly can't see that being a very solid thing but MAYBE?! Why would they keep attacking when they know it won't do shit? Like farreal real.

Also add in somewhere in the above post he could have played the idol on someone else for 1 and 2.
