Greek mythology has a tendency to skip around the ideas of fate and destiny, this is shown through most common myths, plays and that Greek tradition was continued through the eras. The inevitability of our own demise, what we're meant to do, is a common theme seen throughout any blockbuster film in hollywood. However, the Greeks in particular were obsessed with fate, so much so that there was the creation of the Three Fates: Clotho, Lachesis, and Atropos.
These fates weave the threads of life and decide when it is time to ultimately cut it short. Tonight, you will be your own fates, for 18 of you, it is in your hands to decide who will be coming back tonight into the game to possibly win the title of Sole iSurv1vor. For the other 12, it will be for who wins individual immunity, keeping you safe from tonight's Tribal Council and guaranteeing yourself a place in the final 12.
Each player have seven yarn pieces that hold them above a pit. It is your objective to be the last player standing with wool.
Two threads will be going on at the same time, one for the outcasts, one for the current players, you may NOT join the other game, you may only play in your own thread, much like dodgeball.
Every ten minutes, exactly, you may chop someone else's yarn, you will do this by posting in the assigned thread:
[NAME] chops [NAME]
Thus, that person will lose a yarn. Once you are out of yarn, you may no longer compete and you are out of the challenge, and for some of you - out of the game. This game is very simple, every gives equal opportunities to chop other players, no player gets a clear advantage or disadvantage. The most important rule is you can chop every 10 minutes.
EXAMPLE:
At 9:01, SANDY chops HEATHER
At 9:15 SANDY chops HEATHER
At 9:25 SANDY chops HEATHER
The time frame does not matter, as long as it's ten minutes.
Production will try it's best to keep up with everyone but once you head into your challenge area, you will see this challenge is self-moderated. Production will be around to maintain the flow and fairness of the challenge, but for the most part it's up to you guys to chop, make sure your posts are cohesive with the ones prior etc..
Good luck castaways, you're going to need it.
Any questions, contact Production.
