I am pleased to present this masterpiece portraiture of the one and only Joseph Kapusta. It was indeed to pleasure to capture such a pristine and lovely example of the human form. When Mr. Kapusta commissioned this work, he specifically requested that I paint him like "one of my french girls." I had originally wanted to place an arrangement of lilies in front of Mr. Kapusta's manhood, however he had his own ideas and suggested a pizza instead. Throughout our session, I was amazed at his ability to keep the pizza perfectly vertical without any toppings falling off and also not eating the pizza. As you can see though, this did not stop him from staring at the pizza the entire time.
Mr. Kapusta let me know of his love for the Babysitters Club. Although he has never read the series, I felt that it was important to capture this passion by letting the portrait take on the form of a book cover and also using Mr. Kapusta's BSC-inspired alias, Jimmy Tony. The cascading bubble background is an homage to his mother, whose name is Bubbles. The title of the story, Jimmy Tony and the American Idol, is also a reference to Mr. Kapusta's mother, who once claimed that she had found the idol...the American idol.
I only utilized MS Paint to do this painting. My two favorite components are probably the eyebrows, which consist of several layers of brown and black, and the necklace, which I gave dimension by adding on various sizes of hearts in different sHades. I also googled "nude fat men" as a reference photo. So, there's that.
