I truly do feel like my time in the game is coming to an end if I don’t pull out immunity this round.
Mike came to me after Alyx / Craig left and told me that things always change and he’d be willing to work with me if it makes sense. Fei told me today that Chris told her he wants me out. So, eye roll there. I’m assuming Chris wants me out because I voted the dude like the past 4 rounds. Plus, I’m guessing his ‘Mike wants Dave out’ to Fei was letting Fei know that ‘Dave’s out’ without him actually saying he wanted me out. Debbie / Jared probably want me out because I’ve got no deals with them and we don’t exactly talk strategically. Joey goes with whoever is in power.
That leaves me with Fei and Nicole and once again in the minority.
This merge has just been a gigantic failure on my part. The whole ‘everyone I know outside the game coming together to form an alliance’ realllllly fucked me over. Though from what I’ve been hearing from people I’m pretty sure I was fucked no matter what because before the game even started there were so many rumors of me being in pre-games with all my friends that I don’t think I stood a chance to begin with once almost all of them made merge.
Even though I have zero idea what’s going on and no one ever really talks strategy with me I still look like this big threat because I’m an underdog now. I’m also somehow a bigger threat than Fei. I don’t know why. I guess people see me as the one stronger in challenges and more likely to win. Maybe that's true, I honestly don't really know.
WITH ALL THAT SAID.
I’m still going to try to get something going.
The advantage to keeping both Fei and I around together is that we are predictable. People know what we are doing and they know we aren’t going to vote each other out. In a game that’s so unpredictable perhaps a little predictability would be enticing to others.
The way I see things if three people take Fei and I to the F5 they just guaranteed themselves 100% F4 and HIGHLY LIKELY F3 too unless one of us wins immunity. At that point it’s obvious that one of us have to go. It’s predictable. It should make the other less paranoid.
I guess the only fear would be if one of us wins immunity at the F4 and it’s a F3 we win because everyone fears the underdog story.
It’s the same thing at the F7 though. F8 three people can use us for a majority to take someone unpredictable out. Then at F7 / F6 Fei and I go. That 3 just took over the majority. The fact Fei / I have been so stubbornly loyal to a fault should make the story of us wanting to work with whoever just to make it a few more rounds should be believable.
Idk. It’s that or go home, and I’d rather stay.
